GOALS

Promote Exceptional Artistry

  • Engaging Rehearsals: Rehearsal time will be limited but will be engaging and creative challenging the members while reaching fulfillment and pride artistically.
  • Performance Opportunities: Organize 2-3 performances a year to showcase the choir’s growth and talent, providing valuable experience, exposure that provide emotional satisfaction and stimulation to the singers and their audiences.

Establish a Welcoming Environment

  • Inclusive Auditions: Ensure auditions are welcoming. Seek members from all areas of the southwest and central Ohio region and beyond.
  • Diverse Repertoire: Choose music from various genres and cultures to reflect and celebrate diversity within the community.
  • Encouragement within High Standards: Ensemble members will arrive prepared, knowing the music and ready to create great music. Few rehearsals will be scheduled in preparation for each scheduled performance.

Engage with the Community

  • Engagement Programs: Create initiatives to collaborate with and promote local schools, organizations, and other groups providing great impact.

Sustain and Grow the Community

  • Strategic Planning: Allow the mission and vision statements to drive the ensemble long-term including goals for artistic growth, community engagement, and member development.
  • Financial Stability: Seek funding and support through grants, donations, and fundraising events to ensure the choir’s sustainability.
